The writing of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, found dead in a US prison and evaluated as a suicide note written weeks before his death, has been released to the public. The note included the words, "Being able to choose when to say goodbye is a great blessing." It was revealed that the note, found by Epstein’s cellmate, had been kept secret for years. Epstein, who was on trial for charges of sexual abuse of underage girls and running a prostitution network, was found dead in his cell in 2019.
The note, allegedly written by billionaire Jeffrey Epstein weeks before his death and considered a "suicide note," has been released to the public. Epstein was found dead in his prison cell while facing trial for allegedly running a sex trafficking network targeting underage girls in the USA.
According to CNN, a federal judge in the US declassified and released the note, which was allegedly written a few weeks before Epstein's death.
"BEING ABLE TO CHOOSE WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE IS A GREAT BLESSING"
The note, pointing out that no conclusion had been reached in the months-long investigation, stated: "What do you want me to do, cry and whine? Being able to choose when to say goodbye is a great blessing."
Reports in the US press indicated that it has not yet been confirmed whether the note was actually written by Epstein.
CELLMATE FOUND THE NOTE
According to the New York Times (NYT), Epstein's cellmate in prison, Nicholas Tartaglione, found a note in the cell after the billionaire's suicide attempt a few weeks before his death. It was reported that the note, sealed by the federal judge as part of Tartaglione's own criminal case, had been kept confidential in a New York courthouse since that time.
It was stated that the NYT petitioned the court to release the note, which Tartaglione said contained the phrase "time to say goodbye."
EPSTEIN CASE HAD FAMOUS NAMES ON THE AGENDA
Jeffrey Epstein, who was on trial for sexually abusing numerous girls under the age of 18 and running a sex trafficking network, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, on August 10, 2019.
The publicly released Epstein case files included many famous names such as former Prince Andrew, US President Donald Trump, former US President Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former US Vice President Al Gore, actor Kevin Spacey, singer Michael Jackson, illusionist David Copperfield, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
FBI: NO EVIDENCE OF CLIENT LIST
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that after a review conducted with the Department of Justice, no evidence was found that Epstein kept a secret "client list" of famous individuals. The FBI also stated that, contrary to claims that Epstein was killed to protect government officials, businessmen, and celebrities, it was concluded that the billionaire committed suicide in his cell.
