The incident occurred around 17:00 yesterday in the Sevdeş area of Alacalar Neighborhood, affiliated with the Aybastı district. According to the information obtained, Ömer Ercan, who was engaged in maintenance and repair work on the roof of his 2-story detached house, plunged from meters high to the ground due to a momentary loss of balance. Those around and his family, who saw Ercan seriously injured by the force of the fall, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center without wasting time.
BITTER NEWS CAME FROM THE HOSPITAL
Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were quickly dispatched to the address. Severely injured Ömer Ercan, who received first aid at the scene by health personnel, was taken by ambulance to Ordu State Hospital. The 56-year-old man, who was taken under treatment in the emergency room, could not be saved despite all the doctors' efforts lasting hours and lost his life struggle.
