President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke on the phone with Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin.
According to a statement from the Communications Directorate, the meeting addressed bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia, the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as regional and global issues.
"TURKEY WILL CONTINUE ITS EFFORTS"
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey would continue its efforts for a fair and lasting peace to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey is ready to contribute to any diplomatic initiatives and plans that will facilitate direct contact between the parties and pave the way for lasting peace in the region, just as it has in the past.
