President Erdoğan attended the 6th Summit of the European Political Community in Tirana, the capital of Albania, last week.
Before the summit, leaders participated in the opening ceremony at the Opera House in Tirana, where they greeted with AI-generated baby images saying "Welcome to Albania," which became a topic of discussion. President Erdoğan and other leaders watched those images with smiles.
ERDOĞAN SPOKE ABOUT THE IMAGES FOR THE FIRST TIME
Last night, during the commemoration of May 19, Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day, Erdoğan met with young people and national athletes at the Presidential National Library and spoke about the AI-generated baby images for the first time.
"ALBANIA DID SOMETHING INTERESTING IN THE PRESENTATION"
In response to a young person's question, "What concrete steps are you taking to increase Turkey's global competitiveness in the field of artificial intelligence? What kind of cooperation do you plan between the private sector, universities, and public institutions in this area?" Erdoğan stated that currently, universities with technical infrastructure are continuing to work on this matter.
Recalling his visit to Albania, Erdoğan said, "Perhaps some of you have watched. Albania did something interesting in the presentation. They brought the heads of state and prime ministers of all countries to the screen using artificial intelligence. It was very interesting, and each country's head of state or prime minister was presented in that AI. God willing, we are also emerging with such an infrastructure in the upcoming competition. We trust ourselves, we trust you, and thus, with a strong artificial intelligence infrastructure, we are walking towards the future, inshallah."
