President Erdoğan was welcomed in Ethiopia, where he went for an official visit, by children dancing with the flags of both countries in their hands. The children's dance to the "Erdoğan" music was noteworthy.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was officially welcomed by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, during his official visit.
ERDOĞAN WAS WELCOMED WITH AN OFFICIAL CEREMONY
After Erdoğan and Ahmed took their places at the ceremony area, the national anthems of both countries were played. President Erdoğan and Ahmed then saluted the ceremonial troops. Following the introduction of the delegations, the two leaders shook hands and posed for the press. Afterwards, Ahmed and Erdoğan proceeded to a private meeting.
After the private and inter-delegation meetings, the two country leaders attended the signing ceremony of agreements and then made statements.
"ERDOĞAN" WAS WELCOMED WITH MUSIC
Remarkable moments occurred during the welcoming ceremony for Erdoğan. Children carrying Turkish and Ethiopian flags welcomed Erdoğan by dancing. The children were seen dancing to the "Erdoğan" music.
Meanwhile, due to President Erdoğan's arrival in Ethiopia, billboards on streets, intersections, and bridges in Addis Ababa featured the message "Welcome to Ethiopia" along with Erdoğan's photo and the Turkish flag.
AGREEMENTS WERE SIGNED
During the ceremony, the "9th Turkey-Ethiopia Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Joint Economic Commission Minutes" was signed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Ethiopian Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Energy Between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Water and Energy of Ethiopia" was also signed by Minister Bayraktar and Ethiopian Minister of Water and Energy Habtamu Itefa.
