The heavy rain shower that hit Erzurum in the evening hours paralyzed life. The sudden and continuous downpour for about an hour created puddles on the streets and roads. Drivers in traffic had difficult moments, and some houses were also flooded.

The sudden heavy rainfall that occurred in the evening hours negatively affected life in the city. In many places, roads were submerged and vehicles had difficulty moving, leading the police to close the underpasses to traffic.

VEHICLES STRANDED, HOUSES FLOODED

Two vehicles stranded in a puddle under the Aziziye Bridge were rescued with the help of a tow truck. Some drivers whose vehicles broke down and got stranded due to puddles also requested assistance from the authorities. Some houses in Abdurrahman Gazi Neighborhood of the city were also flooded.

MUNICIPALITY TEAMS ON THE FIELD

Municipality teams started working to drain the puddles that occurred in different parts of the city. Traffic congestion was observed on the main streets and avenues of the city.
