Erzurumspor President Ahmet Dal criticized the cost of Fenerbahçe's transfer of N'Golo Kante. In his statement, Ahmet Dal said, 'Fenerbahçe paid 14.5 million euros for Kante during the mid-season break. This amount is enough to finish a club in the top 10 of the Süper Lig. Fenerbahçe is unstable. The debts of these clubs become our debt, the country's debt.'
Erzurumspor President Ahmet Dal, who finished Trendyol 1st League in first place and promoted to the Super League, made striking statements regarding the transfer of N'Golo Kante, whom Fenerbahçe added to its squad during the mid-season transfer window.
''THE DEBT OF THESE CLUBS BECOMES OUR DEBT''
Ahmet Dal criticized the cost of Kante's transfer, saying, "Fenerbahçe paid 14.5 million euros for Kante during the mid-season. This amount is enough to finish a club in the top 10 of the Super League. He will receive 11 million euros in the second year and 11 million euros in the third year, and we know that he will leave at the end of this season. Fenerbahçe is unstable. The debt of these clubs becomes our debt, the country's debt."
YAKUP KIRTAY'S TRANSFER
President Dal also spoke about the future of 22-year-old defender Yakup Kırtay, whose name has recently been associated with major clubs, saying, "We signed the first professional contract for our brother Yakup Kırtay, whom we raised from the academy during the transfer ban period. Yakup was also on the radar of clubs last year, but we wanted him to stay, and he did not let us down. We are receiving offers for Yakup from many clubs, and there have been inquiries from Europe about his situation, but I do not think Yakup has completed his mission at Erzurumspor. My heartfelt wish is that Yakup adds value to his worth for one more year in the Super League next season."
