New regulation for SGK premium debts: Installment period extended, limit increased

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that with the bill submitted to the Parliament, the deferral and installment period for SSI debts has been extended from 36 months to 72 months.

It was reported that with the bill submitted to the Parliament, the deferral and installment period for SSI debts will be increased from 36 months to 72 months.

UNSECURED DEFERRAL AMOUNT IS RAISED TO 1 MILLION LIRA

Minister Vedat Işıkhan stated that the unsecured deferral amount will also be raised to 1 million lira within the scope of the regulation. It was expressed that with the change, citizens and companies, including municipalities, will be able to benefit from long-term payment opportunities.

The new regulation aims to alleviate the payment burden of individuals and institutions indebted to the SSI and to facilitate collection processes.
