After the attack, it was determined that the suspects who fled went to Istanbul, and the Of Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into the crimes of "attempted intentional homicide" and "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime." As a result of the work carried out by the teams of the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Combat and Intelligence Branch Directorates, the suspects of the attack, Y.E.S. (30) and B.İ. (34), were caught in an operation organized in Çatalca.
