Bursaspor captain Ertuğrul Ersoy's call to the people of Karacabey, stating that Nigerian footballer Kelechi Iheanacho eats watermelon in summer and winter, received a response. Bursaspor fan İsmail Tepe from Karacabey went to the İbrahim Yazıcı Facilities and delivered 16 watermelons to captain Ertuğrul Ersoy.
Ertuğrul Ersoy, captain of Bursaspor, one of the TFF 1st League teams, had previously called out to the people of Karacabey in a statement, noting that the team's striker Kelechi Iheanacho eats watermelon summer and winter. Ersoy sent greetings to the people of Karacabey, stating that if the Nigerian footballer continues to score goals, he would find him watermelon summer and winter.

Karacabey fan İsmail Tepe, who did not remain indifferent to the captain's call, went to the Bursaspor İbrahim Yazıcı Facilities together with his son and friend. Tepe handed over the 16 watermelons he brought with him to Ertuğrul Ersoy. The fan was welcomed by the footballers Ertuğrul Ersoy, Kerem Matışlı, Hüseyin Maldar, Ivan Saranic, Soner Aydoğdu and Emirhan Başyiğit. The footballers thanked İsmail Tepe for his sensitivity.

İsmail Tepe expressed his commitment to Bursaspor and said, "Bursaspor is our indispensable. After our captain Ertuğrul Ersoy requested watermelons from the people of Karacabey for Kelechi Iheanacho, I immediately loaded the watermelons into the trunk of my car and came here. Hopefully, we will become champions this year and be promoted to the Süper Lig."
