The couple, who climbed the Empire State Building's antenna tower, which reaches 445 meters including the mast, without permission to propose marriage and unfurl a banner, became the center of attention on social media.
THEY PUT ON THE RING AND TOOK PHOTOS AT THE TOP
In the incident followed by US media via helicopter, it was seen that the male of the two individuals, whose identities are not yet known and were initially thought to be protesters, proposed marriage to his girlfriend, and the woman took multiple photos of the ring on her finger with her phone. After a while, a helicopter belonging to the New York Police Department was also seen tracking these moments from the air.

The duo, who unfurled a banner with expressions of love on the antenna mast, delivered a message with white paint on a black background: "When the power of love overcomes the lust for power, the world will know peace."
THEY WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
It was reported that the couple, who later climbed down to the balcony below by holding onto the iron railings, were taken into custody for climbing the building's antenna tower without permission and creating a hazard.
