In Samsun, a student who came to school to take the YKS exam panicked and fainted after realizing he didn't have his ID and driver's license with him. Although his family brought his ID at the last moment, the student could not take the exam. Additionally, there was no '19 Mayıs Anatolian High School' confusion this year.
Before the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), the first session of the university entrance exam (YKS), there was congestion at exam centers in Samsun. A student named A.G., who came to 19 Mayıs Anatolian High School in the İlkadım district, realized he had not brought his ID.
DID NOT BRING ID, DROPPED DRIVING LICENSE
The student, who planned to enter the exam with his driving license, soon realized he had also dropped his license on the road, causing great panic. Due to the stress, he fainted and collapsed to the ground, and medical teams were notified.
COULD NOT TAKE THE EXAM AFTER FAINTING
About five minutes before the exam, the student's family brought his ID to the school. However, the student, who had fainted and was being treated by medical teams, could not take the exam. Unable to regain consciousness, the student was taken by ambulance to Gazi State Hospital.
19 MAYIS ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL CONFUSION DID NOT OCCUR THIS YEAR
On the other hand, the confusion over "19 Mayıs Anatolian High School," which has caused many students to suffer in Samsun for years, did not occur this year. In previous years, some candidates mistook the phrase "Samsun/19 Mayıs" at the top of their exam entry documents for the school name, coming to 19 Mayıs Anatolian High School in the İlkadım district, only to realize when checking their address information that their exam venue was in the 19 Mayıs district, 43 kilometers away. Many students who came to the wrong school tried to reach the exam center in the district at the last minute but missed the exam. This year, however, authorities removed the exam center in the 19 Mayıs district from the scope of implementation, preventing confusion. Despite this, one student arrived at the school on a motorcycle seconds before the exam. Running to the building entrance just a few seconds before the door closed, the candidate managed to enter and take the exam.
