In Bursa, a young man who killed his uncle after an argument and injured his mother by beating her continued living in the same house for three days. The incident occurred on May 23, 2026, in a house on Uludağ Street, İstiklal Neighborhood, Osmangazi district. According to information obtained, Cüneyt Taşkıran (60) had recently started living with his sibling Ç.A. (63) and his nephew E.A. (35).
According to the claim, on the day of the incident, an argument broke out between Taşkıran, who was drinking alcohol at home, and his nephew E.A. It was learned that the argument stemmed from allegations of E.A.'s violence towards his mother. The quarrel quickly escalated into a violent scuffle.
UNCLE LOSES HIS LIFE
During the fight, Cüneyt Taşkıran lost his life as a result of the blows he received. The suspect E.A.'s mother, Ç.A., was also injured by blows during the incident. After the incident, it was revealed that E.A. continued to stay in the same house with his murdered uncle and injured mother. It was learned that the suspect went out during this period but gave different information to those around him.
GOES TO TAXI STAND AFTER 3 DAYS
The murder came to light three days after the incident. E.A. went to the neighborhood taxi stand and said his uncle was lying motionless at home. Following the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address.
Upon entering the house, the teams encountered the lifeless body of Cüneyt Taşkıran. After initial examination at the scene, Taşkıran's body was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. The injured mother, Ç.A., who was found wounded, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial intervention by medical teams and placed under treatment.

It was learned that the suspect, E.A., who was taken into custody after the incident, denied the accusations in his first statement to the police. It was reported that the suspect claimed he was not at home at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, it was revealed that E.A. had a prior criminal record with the police due to allegations of violence against his mother. The police teams' investigation into the incident is ongoing.
