In the Fethiye district of Muğla, a 50-year-old man shot his 74-year-old mother, with whom he lived, and then shot himself with the same gun. Both the mother and son died in the incident.
In the Çiftlik neighborhood of Muğla's Fethiye district, 50-year-old Volkan Sütçü shot his 74-year-old mother, Fatma Sütçü, with a pistol.
HE THEN POINTED THE GUN AT HIMSELF
As Fatma Sütçü collapsed to the ground covered in blood, Volkan Sütçü then pointed the gun at himself and pulled the trigger.
BOTH LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Health teams determined that Fatma Sütçü had lost her life. Volkan Sütçü, who was seriously injured, was taken by ambulance to Fethiye State Hospital after initial intervention. Despite all interventions, Sütçü could not be saved.
The gendarmerie's investigation into the incident continues.
