The famous actress Nurseli İdiz, who was a guest on the program 'Aramızda Kalmasın' aired on TV8, made striking statements regarding theater.
İdiz stated that in the past, it was difficult to earn income from the stages, but nowadays, significant earnings can be achieved. Explaining her own earnings, İdiz said, "In the past, you couldn't make money from theater, but now you can. Most people do theater because we can't just sit on the sidelines waiting for a series. I earn 150-200 thousand TL a month," she said.
The 64-year-old actress also expressed that she could earn high fees from series as well. "If there is a series, I would earn 100 thousand TL per episode, which would amount to 400 thousand TL a month," said Nurseli İdiz, adding that even the lowest earnings in theater have increased to 150 thousand TL.
