In the Hizan district of Bitlis, a father who was maintaining his gun at home accidentally fired it, resulting in the death of his son who was sitting across from him.
In the Hizan district of Bitlis, while M.Ç. was maintaining his gun at home, the weapon accidentally discharged. His son, E.Ç., who was shot in the abdominal area, lost his life despite all interventions at the hospital he was taken to.
The incident occurred in the Karakoyun hamlet of Ürünveren village, affiliated with the Hizan district.
According to the information obtained, while M.Ç. was maintaining his gun at home, it accidentally discharged for reasons not yet determined.
THE BULLET HIT HIS SON SITTING ACROSS FROM HIM
The bullet from the gun struck the abdominal area of E.Ç., who was sitting across from his father at that moment. Health teams were notified for E.Ç., who was severely injured.
After the teams' intervention, E.Ç. was taken to Hizan State Hospital.
COULD NOT BE SAVED AT THE HOSPITAL
After initial intervention there, E.Ç. was transferred to Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital, but could not be saved despite all the doctors' efforts.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
