In the Fatih neighborhood of Adıyaman, 10-year-old Güneş Avcı, who was trying to cross the road at night, was seriously injured when a car driven by Fatma K. hit her. Avcı, taken to the hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions. While the driver was taken into custody, an investigation was launched into the incident.

The accident occurred late at night in Fatih Mahallesi. The car with license plate 34 DAM 951, driven by Fatma K., struck Güneş Avcı, who was trying to cross the road. Upon reports from those nearby, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
10-YEAR-OLD CHILD LOSES BATTLE FOR LIFE
Avcı, who was seriously injured and taken to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite doctors' intervention. Avcı's body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
The police, who took the car driver Fatma K. into custody, continue their investigation into the accident.
