Fenerbahçe's Brazilian footballer Lincoln Henrique's wife, Adriana Müller, said she was attacked on Thursday, January 2, in the city of Porto, Portugal. "THE TRACES OF THE ATTACK STILL REMAIN"In a statement regarding the incident, Müller said, "We were just trying to park the car when suddenly a woman started shouting at us and insulting us. I apologized and explained that it was our first time in that area and that we were following the directions on the GPS. However, she continued to shout and said, 'Go back to your country because you are coming here to do stupid things.' She called me a cow and said I was a terrible mother. I don't understand how someone can be so aggressive just because I am Brazilian. This is unacceptable. She said she would drag me back to my country by my hair and physically assaulted me. The traces of the attack still remain. I filed a complaint. This reflects a larger problem we are facing. We cannot allow xenophobia and violence to become normalized. We must teach our children to respect everyone, regardless of their background, and live in peace. We cannot let hate win," she stated. LINCOLN HENRIQUE HAS RETURNED TO FENERBAHÇEOn the other hand, Müller’s husband, Lincoln Henrique, had been loaned from Fenerbahçe to Bragantino in the second half of last season. The 26-year-old footballer's loan contract with the Brazilian team ended on December 31, and he returned to the yellow-navy team. The Brazilian player has a contract until 2026.
