EXPLOSION HEARD
The fire occurred at a waste recycling chemical product factory in Büyük Saray Sitesi, Dağyaka Neighborhood, Kahramankazan district. According to information obtained, a loud explosion was first heard from the factory, and then the flames quickly grew, engulfing the entire factory. The flames also spread to another factory right next to it.
INTERVENTION WITH APPROXIMATELY 20 FIRE TRUCKS
Following numerous reports, Keresteciler Fire Station teams were dispatched to the area at 14:34. The teams arrived at the scene at 14:45 and began intervening in the fire. Fire crews sent as reinforcements from many points in Ankara brought the fire under control using foam towers, ladder trucks, and tankers. The fire was contained with the intervention of approximately 20 fire trucks, while teams continue cooling operations with foam.
