WIND SPREAD THE FIRE
A land-forest fire that broke out in an area near the Altıeylül street animal shelter in the Küçükbostancı neighborhood of Altıeylül district spread due to the wind effect.
TEAMS MOBILIZED
Firefighting efforts were carried out by the Regional Directorate of Forestry with 3 water supply vehicles, 1 helicopter, 4 aircraft, 2 dozers, and 100 forest workers, and by the Fire Department with 7 fire trucks, 1 35-ton water supply truck, the Department of Urban Aesthetics with 1 water tanker, and Altıeylül Municipality with 1 water tanker.
DISASTER PREVENTED
The non-forest area fire in the Küçükbostancı neighborhood of Altıeylül district was brought under control by the effective support of the land and air teams of Balıkesir Regional Directorate of Forestry, and it was learned that cooling efforts continue.
