The first images of the major operation against Alihan Kuriş, stated to be the leader of the Süleymancılar, and the criminal organization he is alleged to have led, have emerged. In the dawn raid captured on police cameras, the seized weapons and bales of money drew attention.
A dawn operation was carried out against the criminal organization for profit led by Alihan Kuriş.
After MASAK reported allegations of a 100 billion TL overseas money transfer and an Israel connection, security forces pressed the button and dealt a heavy blow to the criminal organization for profit. Police camera footage of the simultaneous operation, in which 49 detention orders were issued and a total of 30 suspects were detained, was shared with the public.
A HOUSE LIKE AN ARMORY
In the first images shared by the units of the General Directorate of Security, the moments when financial crime police officers simultaneously entered the designated addresses at dawn were included. One of the most striking parts of the images was the weapons seized from a suspect's home. In the search conducted at the house, a total of 20 unlicensed pistols and a large number of ammunition were seized.
BALES OF MONEY EMERGED
In the searches carried out at the addresses of the other suspects, steel safes were opened under police escort. Turkish lira and foreign currencies in bales, removed from the safes and various places in the houses, drew attention.
