Fenerbahçe officially announced that it has signed a one-year contract with İsmail Kartal. Speaking after his return to duty, the experienced coach said, "I am very happy. The Yellow-Navy team announced that a one-year contract has been signed with Ismail Kartal. In the statement made by Fenerbahce to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was said, 'A one-year contract has been signed with Mr. Ismail Kartal for the 2026-2027 season for the position of head coach of the Football A Team.'
