STATEMENT ON THE PROHIBITION OF ACTIONS FROM THE GOVERNORSHIP

In the statement made by the governorship, it was noted that a series of decisions were taken in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations.

The statement indicated that in order to ensure peace and security, personal inviolability, safety, and public welfare within the provincial borders, activities deemed appropriate by the Governorship and District Governorships, as well as games, performances, and various forms of demonstrations and events within the scope of Article 1 of the Law on Police Duties and Authorities No. 2559, excluding the commercial activities of private legal entities with commercial identities, are prohibited for a period of 5 days.

The statement said, "Any actions, events, and activities such as demonstrations, sit-ins, press statements, protests, and similar types of actions to be organized in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911, as well as any unlawful actions that may involve individuals or groups from our districts or surrounding provinces, or using the route of our province, are prohibited from entering and exiting the borders of our province from 00:01 on January 27, 2026, to 23:59 on January 31, 2026, including the city center and our districts, based on Article 11 of the Law on Provincial Administration No. 442 and Articles 17 and 19 of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911."
