Five of the six suspects detained in connection with the armed attack on Serhat Akın have been arrested.

Former Fenerbahçe football player Serhat Akın was injured in the leg during an armed attack. Of the 6 suspects detained in connection with the attack on Akın, 5 were arrested. The suspects were taken to Beykoz Courthouse after their procedures. The 6 suspects brought before the prosecutor conducting the investigation were referred to the peace criminal court with a request for their arrest on charges of "attempted murder with premeditation in participation."

THEY SHOT AT HIS LEGS

The famous commentator was shot 3 times in the leg. Law enforcement agencies took action against the perpetrators of the attack on Akın. 6 individuals identified in the investigation launched regarding the attack were detained.

6 PEOPLE WERE REFERRED TO COURT

In the investigation, O.M, who is alleged to have ridden the motorcycle during the incident, along with O.D. and M.A, who are claimed to have fired a weapon, as well as I.T, Y.G., and M.A, completed their procedures at the police station. The suspects were taken to Beykoz Courthouse after their procedures.

5 WERE ARRESTED

Of the 6 suspects referred to the Peace Criminal Court by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a request for their arrest, 5 were arrested for "attempted murder with premeditation," while the suspect M.A was released under judicial control measures with a travel ban and required to sign at the police station.

250 THOUSAND LIRA CONFESSION

It was learned that the suspect O.D, who is alleged to have fired a weapon, stated in his police testimony that H.Ş, who is currently a fugitive abroad, called him and asked him to shoot Serhat Akın for 250 thousand lira, and that he carried out the act upon this request.

HE NAMED 4 PEOPLE IN HIS FIRST TESTIMONY

Ersin Düzen, who hosts a program on TV100, shared Serhat Akın's testimony. Düzen emphasized, "Serhat said, 'All my comments and criticisms regarding Fenerbahçe that I have made through the media for a while are actually for the success of Fenerbahçe.'" He also stated that he has been subjected to insults and curses on social media. Some commentators have also been named due to broadcasts he made on his YouTube channel. He has a statement indicating that he was targeted in those broadcasts. He named 4 commentators. I am not disclosing the names of these commentators to avoid any right to reply. 'During the period when they targeted me in their broadcasts, Fenerbahçe Club and its officials did not make any effort to prevent the insults and threats made against me. For this reason, I am hurt and angry with Fenerbahçe Club and its officials,' says Serhat Akın," he stated.

Journalist Emrullah Erdinç also mentioned that in Serhat Akın's first testimony, he stated, "These are the people who targeted me. These individuals have targeted me in their broadcasts," naming Ahmet Ercanlar, Murat Aşık, Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, and Can Arat.
