Football: Trabzonspor Claim 2-1 Win Over Kasimpasa

Goals by Djaniny and Anastasios Bakasetas bring victory to away side in Istanbul.

Trabzonspor claimed a 2-1 win over Kasimpasa on Thursday to increase their points to 51 in the Turkish Super Lig.

Playing at Istanbul's Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium, Cape Verdean forward Jorge Djaniny Tavares Semedo opened the scoring for the Black Sea Storm in the 24th minute.

The home side equalized the game in the 39th minute as Yusuf Erdogan successfully converted a penalty kick for Kasimpasa.

In minute 73, Greek forward Anastasios Bakasetas scored the winning goal from close range.

Following this result, Trabzonspor remained in the fourth spot after 27 Super Lig games.
