Under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was conducted in the Şişli district to detect and prevent qualified fraud crimes on an international scale.
54 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY
In the operations conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crime Branch Directorate, 54 suspects were caught and detained, identified as carrying out forex fraud under the guise of investment and conducting international fraud activities through a call center they established. The Istanbul Provincial Police Department stated that investigations related to the operation are ongoing.
