In Istanbul, Mehmet Emin Kuşsan, who forgot his ID at home before the YKS exam, managed to get a replacement document by going to the population directorate in 20 minutes thanks to the Beyoğlu Municipality's motorcycle police, arriving just in time for the exam. The student and the officer were greeted with applause at the school entrance.

Before the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), one of the candidates waiting to take the exam at ITU Taşkışla Campus forgot his ID at home. The student named Mehmet Emin Kuşsan went to the Population Directorate by getting on the motorcycle of a municipal police officer from Beyoğlu Municipality. The motorcycle officer took the student to get a temporary ID document and brought him back to the exam in about 20 minutes. The student and the motorcycle officer were greeted with applause by the parents in front of the school.

"MAY GOD BE YOUR HELPER"

Mehmet Emin Kuşsan realized he forgot his ID at home before the exam. While his mother and the student experienced a brief moment of panic, the motorcycle officer from Beyoğlu Municipality rushed to help the candidate student. His mother said she only learned about her son forgetting his ID when they arrived at the school, and bystanders asked the officer for help. Meanwhile, as the student got on the motorcycle officer's vehicle, his mother supported him by saying, "May God be your helper. Go to Kasımpaşa, my son," to get the ID document.

HE MADE IT THANKS TO THE MOTORCYCLE OFFICER

The candidate student Mehmet Emin Kuşsan quickly went to Kasımpaşa on the motorcycle officer's bike to get a document serving as a temporary ID. Another student's parent, Mahmut Orakçı, who witnessed the events, said, "Our student couldn't get his ID because he forgot it at home. We informed the officer. The officer went to the Beyoğlu Population Directorate to get a new temporary document as quickly as possible. Hopefully, he will make it. We thank the Beyoğlu Municipal Police Directorate from here. We thank the motorcycle officer teams. Hopefully, our child will make it to the exam in time."

MOTHER THANKS THE OFFICER

The mother thanked the officer, who took the student to the population directorate and brought him back to the exam venue in about 20 minutes, on behalf of her son, saying "May God be pleased with you." The officer and the candidate student were greeted with applause in front of the exam building. Some nearby parents thanked the officer by saying "Well done," while the motorcycle officer responded, "It's our duty." Mehmet Emin Kuşsan, who forgot his ID at home, entered the exam with the temporary document in hand. His mother began waiting outside the building.
