MIDNIGHT PANIC IN BAKIRKOY

The fire occurred around 04:30 at a car gallery on Yeşilköy Street in the Yeşilköy neighborhood of Bakırköy. The fire, which started for an undetermined reason in a car parked outside the gallery, quickly grew.

The flames spread to 3 other cars next to the burning vehicle. Police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon notification from nearby citizens.

50 MILLION LIRA IN DAMAGE

Police teams took security measures and closed the street to vehicle traffic. The fire was brought under control and extinguished as a result of the intervention of fire crews.
