Free drinking water services are being expanded at airports

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure is expanding free drinking water services at airports to enhance passenger comfort. Installations have been completed at 14 airports so far, with the goal of implementing the practice across all 58 airports in Turkey.

According to information obtained from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, efforts to enhance passenger comfort at airports continue. In this context, studies are being carried out at airports across the country to facilitate access to drinking water.

This service is being implemented especially in check-in lounges, secured passenger areas, waiting zones, and arrival and departure passenger halls at airports.

INSTALLATION COMPLETED AT 14 AIRPORTS

As part of the efforts, installations have been completed at 14 airports, while ordering, manufacturing, and installation processes continue at 32 airports.

The implementation is planned to be expanded to all 58 airports, and the number of water dispensers is expected to be increased in areas with high passenger density.
