Chairman of Alperen Ocakları, Ali Can Kocaman, responded harshly to Ahmet Türk's reply to Mustafa Destici. In his social media post, Kocaman recalled the attack on Ahmet Türk in Samsun in 2010, saying, "The last time we took you seriously, you barely escaped from Samsun."
Ahmet Türk, who was elected as the Metropolitan Mayor of Mardin in the March 31, 2024 local elections but was later removed from office, said in a post on his social media account, "I am very happy, a team from Kurdistan has been promoted to the Super League, I wish them success." Türk's post quickly became a topic of discussion in the political world.
DESTECI REACTED HARSHLY
Mustafa Destici, the leader of the Great Unity Party, one of the allies of the People's Alliance, also reacted harshly to Ahmet Türk's post. In a statement on his social media account, Destici said, "What Kurdistan! This is the Republic of Turkey. If you don't like it, get out."
AHMET TÜRK'S RESPONSE
Speaking to İlke TV about Destici's remarks, Ahmet Türk said, "I do not take Mustafa Destici seriously. He is not someone worth responding to."

As the echoes of the debate continued, a statement came from Ali Can Kocaman, the head of the Alperen Hearths Education, Culture and Solidarity Foundation. Kocaman made a post saying, "The last time we took you seriously, you barely escaped from Samsun. Don't make yourself taken seriously," referencing the attack on Ahmet Türk in Samsun in 2010.
