The incident occurred in the Engürücük Neighborhood of Gemlik district. According to the information obtained, upon the report of citizens who saw a person lying motionless at the base of a high-voltage pole, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. In the examination conducted by the teams arriving at the scene, it was determined that the unidentified male individual died as a result of electric shock.
DETERMINED THAT HE ESCAPED FROM THE OPEN PRISON
In the identification efforts, it was determined that the deceased person was H.Ç., who was established to have escaped from the Gemlik Open Penal Institution.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
