INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED ON SERIOUS CHARGES

The official statement from the Ministry included details of the investigation conducted against Erdal Beşikçioğlu. In the statement, it was emphasized that the judicial process continues within the scope of the charges of "Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes, Corruption in the Performance of an Obligation, Corruption in Public Institutions and Organizations' Tenders, Extortion by Force, Embezzlement, and Accepting Bribes."

REMOVED FROM OFFICE FOLLOWING THE ARREST DECISION

It was reminded that within the framework of the investigation, Beşikçioğlu was arrested by the decision of the Ankara West 2nd Criminal Court of Peace dated 02.08.2026. Following the decision, the Ministry of Interior took an administrative step in parallel with the judicial process.
