The incident occurred around 21:30 at a hotel operating in Gümüşlük Mahallesi. According to allegations, a gas leak occurred for reasons not yet determined during pool maintenance carried out at the hotel.

15 people who were around the pool and began experiencing nausea and dizziness after the leak were taken to nearby hospitals by medical teams who arrived upon notification. It was learned that the general health condition of the 15 people under treatment is good.
The investigation launched by the gendarmerie regarding the incident is ongoing.
