Fenerbahçe announced that Gökhan Gönül, a former player of the Yellow-Navy Blues, will serve as the assistant to Domenico Tedesco, who has been appointed as the head coach.

Fenerbahçe has appointed 39-year-old Italian coach Domenico Tedesco, who recently worked with the Belgian National Team, as the head coach of the Football A Team.

A 2-YEAR AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED

In a statement from the club, it was announced, "A two-year contract has been signed with Mr. Domenico Tedesco for the position of head coach of the Football A Team, covering the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons. This is respectfully announced to our investors and the public."

Additionally, the first name to assist the Italian coach has been revealed. It was announced that Gökhan Gönül, a former player of Fenerbahçe, will be Tedesco's assistant.
