Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı held a meeting with the TFF and MHK in Riva. After the meeting, Serdal Adalı gave a transfer announcement to his fans. In his statement, Adalı said, "We will make reinforcements to our lacking areas next week."
Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı held a meeting with Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz, and Central Refereeing Committee (MHK) President Ferhat Gündoğdu.
'THEY ACCEPTED THAT WE WERE RIGHT' After the meeting held at TFF's center in Riva, Adalı stated to the press that they had a productive meeting. He emphasized that they re-watched the important moments of the Eyüpspor match in the VAR room and that the federation acknowledged their correctness. Adalı said:
"I expressed the problems we started with the first match. I also told the MHK President about our trust in referees for the future. I conveyed the difficulties we experienced last week to them. We all watched the important moments of the match again in the VAR room. They also accepted that we were right. Mistakes will inevitably happen. Mistakes that happen to everyone will also happen to us. This league will continue with Turkish referees. We will walk with them. We have no objections to the mistakes made against everyone. As a community, we conveyed our requests regarding the referees we are troubled with. I believe it was a productive meeting. I thank our federation president, vice president, and MHK president. We watched the problematic points minute by minute together. They found it very justified. They are aware that we have no unjust objections. I hope we do not experience similar problems in the future. We have had difficulties since the beginning of last season, and we expressed them."
'THEY WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY' In response to a question about whether he requested any sanctions regarding the referee of the Eyüpspor match, Serdal Adalı said, "I did not get into what they will do regarding the sanctions. Sanctions are a matter under the jurisdiction of the MHK and the federation. They will do what is necessary."
Speaking about the penalty imposed by the Professional Football Discipline Board from last season, Adalı said, "They are aware that the penalty is severe. I hope that in the future, such penalties will not be given to presidents who speak for the interests of the club and its community. We represent a huge community. Of course, I will protect the rights of my community, but if heavy penalties are imposed every time we open our mouths, we cannot find the truth. We have been continuing to watch Beşiktaş's matches at home for a long time." he stated.
'WE WILL COMPLETE THE MISSING POSITIONS THIS WEEK' Addressing the transfer agenda of the black-and-white team, President Adalı stated:
"The team has deficiencies. We are working on this. I will not rush the transfer; my community should know this. Right now, I am experiencing the problems of rushed transfers. While experiencing these difficulties, we are being meticulous to avoid adding more troubled players to Beşiktaş. Everyone should rest assured. We will enter this season by making the necessary transfers. Last week, we sorted out the right-back position. We will complete the other missing positions within this week. My community should not think that nothing is being done; they should rest assured. We can bring in 3 players tonight, but if those 3 players are wrong for Beşiktaş, it will be a problem. I do not want to do that, and I will not. It is delayed, it takes time, but the result will be good. No one should have any doubts about that. They will wait a few more days. The team will be completed. We will not continue the league until it is completed. As it gets completed, we will continue to watch the Beşiktaş we desire."
Regarding the match to be played tonight against Swiss representative Lausanne in the UEFA Conference League playoff round first leg, Adalı said, "I hope we will get a good result. We watched a good match over the weekend. There was a goal in the last minute. Overall, I am satisfied with the football played. A spring does not come with a single flower. The important thing is to maintain this game throughout the season. Over time, we will play the game that suits Beşiktaş." he concluded his remarks.
