A new statement came from Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek regarding the pension salary arrangement announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced that technical work carried out to support retirees' purchasing power continues. Stating that the regulation announced by President Erdoğan has not yet taken its final form, Minister Şimşek said the work will cover all retirees. Minister Şimşek used the following statements regarding the regulation on retirement pensions: "The technical work we are carrying out to support our retirees' purchasing power has not yet been completed. The regulation will cover all our retirees. We think it would be right for the increase to be differentiated according to our retirees' age and number of premium payment days. I think the final work will most likely be done in December and brought to your discretion immediately after the budget."
