The passenger plane on the Istanbul-Tehran route made an emergency landing in Ankara due to a passenger who fell ill. After the passenger was handed over to the medical team, the plane took off again and safely arrived in Tehran.
The VF183 flight, a Boeing 737, operated by AJet, took off from Sabiha Gökçen Airport heading to Tehran, the capital of Iran, and declared an emergency over Kırşehir due to a passenger's illness.
DELIVERED TO HEALTH TEAMS
The aircraft, redirected to Ankara Esenboğa Airport, landed smoothly. The ill passenger was handed over to the health teams waiting on the apron and was taken to the hospital.
LANDED IN TEHRAN WITHOUT ISSUES
After the passenger's evacuation, the aircraft took off again and successfully landed in Tehran.
