5 PEOPLE HAD BEEN DETAINED
On September 26, 2025, the famous singer Güllü (52) fell from the window while having fun with her daughter and a friend in the closed terrace on the fifth floor of the apartment on Vali Akı Street in the Harmanlar neighborhood of Çınarcık, Yalova, and lost her life. As part of the investigation conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Güllü's death, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was under physical and technical surveillance and was present in the house during the incident, along with her friend Sultan Nur Ulu and two others, were detained in Istanbul while allegedly preparing their suitcases to flee abroad. Additionally, Sultan Nur Ulu's father was also detained in Gebze, Kocaeli.
GÜLLÜ'S DAUGHTER ARRESTED
Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was detained on suspicion of intentional murder, was arrested, while her friend Sultan Nur Ulu was referred to the court with a request for judicial control, and the other three suspects were released. The court arrested Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter for the crime of intentional murder with premeditation. Sultan Nur Ulu was placed under house arrest.
HER FRIEND CONFESSED TO THE MURDER
Meanwhile, Sultan Nur Ulu confessed in her statement that Tuğyan Gülter killed her mother. In Ulu's statement, she said, "Güllü sister was facing the glass. At that moment, I pushed her by wrapping around just above her knees."
"THE TRUTHS WILL COME OUT"
At the courthouse entrance, when journalists asked Gülter, "Did you commit the murder?" she replied, "No." When Gülter was told by a journalist that "The suspicions are on you," she responded, "The truths will come out," denying the accusations against her.
HER LAWYERS WITHDREW FROM THE CASE
Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter's lawyers decided to withdraw from the case. The lawyers stated that it is still unknown whether Gülter is guilty, saying, "At the very beginning, we said that if we feel the slightest doubt in the case, we would withdraw. Sufficient doubt has arisen in our view. We withdrew from the case in respect of Güllü's moral legacy."
THEY WERE ALLEGEDLY PLANNING TO FLEE TO FRANCE OR GEORGIA
According to a report by DHA, it was claimed that Gülter and her friend Ulu, who left the house with suitcases, were planning to flee to Georgia or France. It was suggested that the suspects were planning to leave Turkey by sea or in the trailer of a truck to avoid being caught at the airport.
A VOICE RECORDING EMERGED
The home security camera footage from Güllü's house had been sent to TÜBİTAK for sound analysis.
"LET'S MEET AGAIN"
According to a report in Sabah Newspaper, the awaited report from TÜBİTAK has arrived. In the sound recordings sent for analysis, Gülter's voice saying "I will throw you now" was clarified. It was determined that after allegedly throwing her mother out the window following a struggle, Gülter said, "Let's meet again, bye bye."
This statement was identified as being made by Gülter, Güllü's daughter. According to the investigation, after consuming a high amount of alcohol, Güllü went to the bathroom, and then Tuğyan and her friend Ulu went to the room with the window close to the ground and opened the window.
The suspects played the Roma music "Malkara," which Güllü loved to dance to whenever she heard it, and when Güllü came out of the bathroom, surprised, she said, "What is that?" and went to the room. According to the claim in the report, in that room, Tuğyan said, "I will throw you now," and then a struggle began, and the daughter pushed her mother out the window.
CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS
Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor Duygu Bayar Öksüz stated yesterday that the statements given by Gülter and Ulu at four different times were inconsistent and contradictory, saying, "We dug a well with a needle."
In her statement on November 6, Gülter once again denied the allegations against her, saying, "From time to time, there would be arguments between mother and daughter, just like in every household. My mother was particularly someone who got angry when she drank alcohol."
Gülter also mentioned that her messages about her mother were distorted, stating that she wrote to family friend B.D. out of anger during a period when her relationship with her mother was open due to her fiancé.
