"Kent Uzlaşısı" is a project that aims to foster dialogue and cooperation among various stakeholders in urban development. About a month before the investigations into the "Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization," former Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who was released from custody, visited MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli. In a statement regarding the visit, Aktaş quoted Einstein, saying, "I conveyed the greetings of our esteemed General Chairman Özgür Özel. I expressed my gratitude to Bahçeli for his selfless and sincere contributions to the peace process."
"City Consensus" and "Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization" investigation, former Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who was detained in prison for over a year and released about a month ago, visited MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli in his office. Özer presented two of his books to Bahçeli during the visit.

In this sense, I expressed my gratitude to Mr. Bahçeli for his selfless and sincere contributions to the peace process.

To overcome many more challenges and not to let hopes go in vain, everyone and every segment has significant responsibilities. I stated that we will also do our part in this historical process.
We had a deep conversation about the issues and contradictions that will contribute directly and indirectly to the peace process.

I emphasized that for societal peace to become permanent, no one should be excluded, and particularly the importance of ending the siege on CHP during this process.
I pointed out that increasing trust in the judiciary is the cornerstone of the matter, that this is necessary for the peace process to gain trust, and that there is a need for trust-building steps.
"I EMPHASIZED THE CONTRIBUTION OF IMPLEMENTING THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT AND ECHR DECISIONS TO THE PROCESS"
I stressed that trials should not turn into punishment, that there is a need for a softening with non-custodial trials, and that ending the trustee regime and implementing the Constitutional Court and ECHR decisions will contribute to the process. It is evident that the decreasing trust in the judiciary today harms our country's democracy and the peace process.
"IT IS TIME TO LEAVE BEHIND DIVISIVENESS AND EMBRACE EACH OTHER"
Now is the time to leave behind divisiveness and embrace each other. We must succeed in this and this opportunity should not be wasted under any circumstances. This opportunity is of great importance not only for Turkey's internal peace but also for regional peace.
Turkey must solve this problem within democracy and reinforce living together in peace on an equal basis.
