Tekin, who said, "Don't be jealous, one day it will be yours too," stated that he only owns one house, his spouse has one apartment, and they have one car.
Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, spoke about the allegations regarding his assets. Tekin, who is claimed to have 11 companies and more than 300 apartments, was asked live on air, "Are you really that rich?"
"DON'T BE ENVIOUS, YOU WILL HAVE IT TOO"
Responding to the question during a phone call to the live broadcast of tv100, Tekin said, "A journalist reported that I have 11 companies and 399 apartments. We didn't take it seriously, and it went on like this. I have a house I bought in 1994. My wife has an apartment. We have one car. Thank God, these are more than enough for us... Don't be envious, one day you will have it too."

Gürsel Tekin was born on June 17, 1964, in the Göle district of Ardahan and could not complete his university education due to economic difficulties. After moving to Istanbul in the 1980s and working in various jobs such as waitressing, he entered politics.
