Safi stated in a written statement to AA correspondent, "Since my childhood, I have been a devotee of this precious community, and since 1999, I have been a congress member, taking great pride in being part of it. I have decided to take on a significant responsibility to help this community reach stronger tomorrows together. On this occasion, I am honored to officially share with you my unconditional candidacy for the Presidency of Fenerbahce Club at our extraordinary general assembly with elections."
