Presidential candidate Hakan Safi made statements during his visit to the Şanlıurfa Fenerbahçe Association. Referring to the remarks made by another presidential candidate, Aziz Yıldırım, during his visit to Şanlıurfa in the past days, Hakan Safi said, 'I am nobody's man. The unpleasant incidents that occurred during our other candidate's visit here last week are absolutely unacceptable. No one owns this club, and no one can come here and act like a boss.'
Fenerbahçe Presidential Candidate Hakan Safi visited the Şanlıurfa Fenerbahçe Association. Hakan Safi met with congress members and fans, stating that he would develop different projects for club members or supporters.
"CANNOT COME HERE AND ACT LIKE A BOSS"
Safi, who said he is conducting intensive election work, commented on the statements made by another presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım in Şanlıurfa in recent days, saying, "Hopefully, there will be a good election. I am nobody's man. The unpleasant incidents that occurred during our other candidate's visit here last week are absolutely unacceptable. You are the true owners of Fenerbahçe. We are just your friends who aspire to manage the club on your behalf. No one owns this club, and they cannot come here and act like a boss. As innovators, we are in competition with the traditionalists. Those who dwell on the past are like bankrupt merchants. Yesterday is over, now we need to look toward tomorrow."
"WE ARE THE PIONEERS OF CHANGE"
Continuing his remarks, Hakan Safi said, "Seats are entrusted; we will aspire to manage these places with you through the goodwill we receive from the community." Safi added, "Hopefully, on this path we have set out on, God will not let us be ashamed. Nothing new comes from the old; the only constant is change, and we are the pioneers of change. Fenerbahçe is a club, and the presidents who come to this team must be successful. Championships are in Fenerbahçe's genes and essence. We cannot live with yesterday; we always need to look forward and toward tomorrow. That's why we have aspired to these positions. With our appetite, talent, courage, and financial and moral assets, we want to serve Fenerbahçe."
WHAT HAD AZİZ YILDIRIM SAID?
In his speech to congress members from Şanlıurfa, Aziz Yıldırım had targeted the Şanlıurfa Fenerbahçe Association, saying, "The Şanlıurfa Fenerbahçe Association announced they would support the opposing candidate; I have no words for them. I refer them to our fans."
