Her son Ener Öztep, overwhelmed with tears, struggled to stand. The actor's husband, Çetin Öztep, stated, "We have been fighting for three months. She had gone through it before, she overcame that stage, but we have come to this point due to a lesion that formed in her brain. We will bid her farewell. While the treatment was ongoing, she was taken to intensive care. She could only last 1.5 days in intensive care," he said.

Actress Ayten Uncuoğlu said, "I am very sad." Halil Ergün, who appeared on screen with Ener in the series Yaprak Dökümü, stated, "She is saying goodbye to us.
