The funeral was attended by her co-star Halil Ergün from the series Yaprak Dökümü, actors Volkan Severcan, Ayten Uncuoğlu, Ayşen İnci, voice and theater artists, and her loved ones. Condolences at the funeral were accepted by her husband Çetin Öztep and her son Ener Öztep.
"HE COULD ONLY LAST 1.5 DAYS IN INTENSIVE CARE"
Her son Ener Öztep, overwhelmed with tears, struggled to stand. The actor's husband, Çetin Öztep, stated, "We have been fighting for three months. She had gone through it before, she overcame that stage, but we have come to this point due to a lesion that formed in her brain. We will bid her farewell. While the treatment was ongoing, she was taken to intensive care. She could only last 1.5 days in intensive care," he said.
"IT BECAME A LEAF FALL"
Actress Ayten Uncuoğlu said, "I am very sad." Halil Ergün, who appeared on screen with Ener in the series Yaprak Dökümü, stated, "She is saying goodbye to us. We are very affected, she had overcome her illness, and then I had my own rushes while she was going to Bodrum. This news just came. Yes, it became a leaf fall. We receive news every day, and Edip is the same now, you know. I feel sad, I am very affected, when a generation comes like this, we struggle," he expressed.
HALİL ERGÜN'S CRITICISM
Ergün criticized the actors of the series Yaprak Dökümü who did not attend the funeral. In response to the press members' words, "We would have liked to see the names from 'Yaprak Dökümü' here," Ergün replied, "I cannot say, it is their choice. Their perspective on life may be different. I do not communicate with them either."

Volkan Severcan emphasized that her voice will always be remembered, saying, "She was a very valuable theater actress and also a very important voice artist. She was my friend for over 40 years. We will miss her a lot. It was too early, we are all very sad. We worked a lot, there is no count. Her voice will never die. We have spoken in so many films together, her own voiced films are separate, she may not be physically here, but her voice will always live with us, Bediş's. May God rest her soul," he said.
