Haluk Levent, who was sentenced to a judicial fine of 70 million TL in a case where two separate checks he issued in 2025 were returned unpaid, made a statement regarding the audits of the Ahbap Association and invoices from the earthquake period. Stating that he has health issues, Levent said, "I will step down as the President of Ahbap after the upcoming projects are completed and I pass this year's audit with honor."
Singer and Ahbap Association President Haluk Levent made the awaited statement after being sentenced to a 70 million TL judicial fine in a case where he was tried for two separate checks issued in 2025 that bounced.

The famous artist, who also stated that he had health problems, announced that he would end his active role. Levent said: "I had a stomach hemorrhage. Due to my health issues and intense stress, I have neglected my professional life, my music, and my compositions a lot. I am currently the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for Syria and Lebanon. I now want to showcase my own projects through more global projects. This is my dream.
