Hamas Brigades strongly react to the assassination of Haniyeh: It is time to cut off the hand that stirs up trouble.

In a statement from the military wing of Hamas, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, a strong reaction was expressed against the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, stating that "It is time to put an end to this Zionist immorality and cut off its disruptive hand. The heinous assassination carried out in the heart of the Iranian capital is a significant and dangerous event that will have major implications, taking the war to new dimensions that will affect the entire region."

The military wing of Hamas, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, stated that the assassination attempt on the Movement's Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Iran is "an important and dangerous incident that will have significant implications and new dimensions for the war in the entire region."

"ENEMY MADE A MISTAKE"

In a statement on the Qassam Brigades' Telegram account, it was stated that "the heinous assassination of Haniyeh in the heart of Iran's capital is an important and dangerous incident that will have significant implications and new dimensions for the war in the entire region. The enemy made a mistake by expanding the circle of attacks, carrying out assassinations of resistance leaders in various fields, and violating the sovereignty of regional countries."

"TIME HAS COME TO CUT THE HAND OF THE FEROCIOUS ENEMY"

The statement evaluated that narcissism has "blinded" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and claimed that Netanyahu has accelerated the collapse of the "occupiers" and their eternal disappearance from Palestinian territories.

The statement also emphasized that "the time has come to put an end to this Zionist immorality, to restrain this ferocious enemy, to cut its meddling hand, and to deter its aggression. The ongoing crimes of the enemy in various fields are ringing alarm bells for all countries and peoples in the region. The assassination of Haniyeh should mobilize everyone to support the Palestinian resistance, as Palestine is the advanced defense line of the entire ummah."

HAMAS LEADER HANIYEH ASSASSINATED IN TEHRAN

Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced in a statement on July 31 that an attack was carried out on Haniyeh's residence in Tehran. Iran and the Hamas Movement hold Israel responsible for the assassination, while Israeli officials refrained from making any statements about the incident. Haniyeh was elected as the Political Bureau Chief of Hamas on May 6, 2017, replacing Khaled Meshaal.
