21-year-old Harda Kaçmaz, who lost his life after falling from the stands during the Kocaelispor-Beşiktaş match, was laid to rest in a funeral ceremony. His family, along with many politicians and athletes, attended the funeral. The emotional moments were heightened by his father's tears and lamentations.
Harda Kaçmaz (21), a fan of the home team who fell from the stands during the Kocaelispor-Beşiktaş match and lost his life, was brought to the Zeytinlik Mosque in the Fatih neighborhood of Izmit after the autopsy procedures.

Attending the funeral were Harda's father Fehmi Kaçmaz, relatives, and loved ones, as well as Kocaeli Governor İlhami Aktaş, Metropolitan Mayor Tahir Büyükakın, AK Party Member of Parliament Veysal Tipioğlu, Kocaelispor President Recep Durul, Kocaelispor Head Coach Selçuk İnan, Kocaelispor captain Gökhan Değirmenci, and club players Ahmet Oğuz and Muharrem Cinan. A Kocaelispor flag was placed on the coffin.
"SON, WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THIS?"
Fehmi Kaçmaz, who collapsed over his son's coffin, cried out, "I was going to send you to the army, I was going to have your fun. Now I will bring the teacher to you. Son, what are you doing in this? My dear, let's go home. Just this morning, I covered you up while going to work, and when I came back in the evening, is this how I was going to see you? My dear has gone. My beloved son." After the funeral prayer held at noon, Harda Kaçmaz was buried in the Kent Cemetery.
