Journalist Fuat Uğur made a post criticizing MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli for calling Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as part of his Eid al-Adha greetings. Uğur stated, 'Bahçeli's attempts to reconcile Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel are taking an interesting turn.' MHP Social Media Officer Hüseyin Özkan harshly responded to Uğur's remarks, saying, 'Would our leader ask you what to do? It was an unfortunate post, unbecoming.'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli first called Özgür Özel and then Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP chairmanship by absolute nullity decision, for Eid al-Adha greetings.

Following this, journalist Fuat Uğur made a post targeting Bahçeli. Uğur wrote:

"MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli’s attempt to reconcile Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel is taking an interesting turn. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Bahçeli soon says, ‘Özgür Özel should benefit from the right to hope if necessary, and even speak in the CHP parliamentary group. But let him declare that he will give up the weapons, that is, these schemes, and that he has stopped being İmamoğlu’s orderly. Let him put his hand under the stone for an honest and moral CHP.’"

HARSH RESPONSE FROM MHP TO UĞUR

MHP Social Media Officer Hüseyin Özkan responded to Uğur's post.

In his post, Özkan said, "Was our Leader going to ask you what to do? The Leader of the Nationalist Movement Party has always acted responsibly towards the past and the future in Turkish political history. His mind is always on Turkey. And he has always said, ‘my country and my nation first.’ It was an unfortunate post, unbecoming."
