In the Urla district of Izmir, a suspect who killed his relative, with whom he had a feud over a debt, by cutting his throat, left the lifeless body in front of a coffeehouse. It was learned that the suspect told those around him, 'Call the police, I did this as a lesson to everyone,' while an investigation into the incident has been launched.

The brutal murder in İzmir's Urla district has shaken the town. The suspect, who allegedly killed his relative Gökhan Şimşek by slitting his throat inside a car due to a debt dispute, left the lifeless body in front of a coffeehouse. It was claimed that the suspect told those around him, "Call the police, I did this as a lesson to all."

The incident occurred at the Mermerli Çeşme area in the center of Urla district. According to allegations, R.Ş. and his relative Gökhan Şimşek had a long-standing feud over a debt issue. R.Ş. is accused of killing Şimşek by slitting his throat inside a car at an unknown location.

After the murder, the suspect arrived at the Mermerli Çeşme area in a blood-covered vehicle, removed Gökhan Şimşek's lifeless body from the car, and left it in front of a coffeehouse.

Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. During the medical team's check, it was determined that Gökhan Şimşek had lost his life.

Police teams took extensive security measures in the area, and after the work of the crime scene investigation teams and the public prosecutor, Şimşek's body was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.
