Russian President Vladimir Putin has reacted strongly to Ukraine's attacks on his country's economic and industrial regions. Speaking on the matter to Russian state television, Putin said, "The Kiev regime aimed to damage our economy with these attacks. However, by doing so, they opened Pandora's box with their own hands."
"LET THEM EXPECT A RESPONSE"
Putin, emphasizing that Ukraine's attacks targeting the Russian economy will not go unanswered, stated, "If that's the case, let them expect a response that will target the most sensitive sectors of their economy."
"THERE WILL BE NO SHORTAGES IN THE GLOBAL MARKET"
Putin, stressing that Ukraine's attacks aimed at jeopardizing Russia's agricultural exports will not lead to food shortages, said, "We are facing some difficulties regarding the shipment of our products, but we will solve these problems. Therefore, there will be no shortages in the global market." Noting that Russia is open to peace talks, Putin expressed that these talks should be based on "the realities on the ground" rather than Ukraine's "exotic" proposals.
