Two separate traffic accidents that occurred in the morning hours in Gaziantep and Aksaray turned into a dreadful scene. In Gaziantep, 3 people lost their lives and 3 people, 2 of whom were children, were injured as a result of the collision of two cars. In Aksaray, 2 people died in a car that went out of control and hit a lighting pole, and 2 people, including a 7-year-old child, were seriously injured.
Two cars collided at the 20th kilometer of the Gaziantep-Nizip D-400 highway, around 06:00 in the morning.
According to the claim, the car with license plate 27 RM 004, driven by Mehmet K. (38), and the car with license plate 06 AR 4964, driven by Doğan Yanardağ (51), collided. After the horrific accident, health, fire, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon a notification made to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
3 PEOPLE DIED, 3 PEOPLE WERE INJURED
Teams arriving at the scene determined that Mertcan Taşdemir (25), who was a passenger in the vehicle 06 AR 4964, lost his life at the scene. The injured driver Doğan Yanardağ (51) and Hacı Zer (51), along with the driver of the other vehicle Mehmet K. (38), Havin K. (11), and Sara K. (9), were taken to the hospital after initial medical intervention by health teams. Among the injured taken to the hospital, Doğan Yanardağ and Hacı Zer, whose conditions were critical, could not be saved despite all interventions. While the treatment of the other injured continues in the hospital, the bodies of the 3 people who lost their lives were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. A comprehensive investigation has been launched into the accident.
